me and my friend were planning on going on a vacation to LA and picked the millennium biltmore because it was a 4 star hotel and we thought everything about would be great. when we got our room was way to small and we got a bigger room quickly and easily, the service was GREAT! the parking fee was way too high. the location was horrible, when you come out of the hotel you see alot of homeless people laying outside and a bunch of weirdos that say stuff to you while you walk by, there were no grocieriy stores around at all so we had to take the metro or bus to get around town which was a pain, a lot of weirdos on their too. me and my friend were scared to come out of the hotel. the fitness center was good, and the staff was great. the lobby was beautiful!!!!!! the bathrooms were ok, a little dirty. overall i WOULD recommend the hotel if it was in a better location, but because of the poeple around the hotel, i would definetly NOT recommend it for anyone, spacially a family who want to go to all the LA attractions, this hotel was sooo far away from all the attractions.!.

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay here. we were in town for a wedding and as a late honey moon. the building was beautiful and fun to be in. the only thing i did not like was the extra charge for parking as it seemed to be to high. we later found cheaper parking on olive st.. the hotel was near all of our destinations for that week and we had no problems finding our ways around down town. the staff was helpfull and even gave us maps to local attractions. in all we had a blast. the only set back was that there was no fridge, iron, or microwave in the room.

"The old Biltmore stands still lovely in architecture, but needs better housekeeping management. Not a good sample of a great hotel in this department. "

Nice historical hotel. Could have better TV and free internet access. I would enjoy if it had smal refrigerator and microwave in the room or at lease in every story available.

Biltmore Hotel - A Classic

When you stay at the Biltmore you are going back into history. The hotel is well-maintained and the architecural details inside the main lobby are exceptional. The hotel has a great bar with wood carvings and stone work with sculptures that go back to a by-gone era. The hotel has several good restaurants, and is located a short walk from a number of LA's best restaurants downtown. The location is excellent if you are doing business in various parts of downtown LA. The hotel has a good fitness facility, and the service is friendly and helpful. the room decor is nice, but slightly dated and could use an upgrade, although it has character. Parking in the hotel is very expensive, but the Pershing Square parking garage across the street offers parking for $14 per day. This is a fine great old hotel, and one of the better values in downtown LA.
