Pleasantly surprised. Great location, good service and pleasant employees. Rooms very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricey but well worth it. Definitely will stay at this hotel again--nothing negative about it!

The minute we walked in and were greeted everyone was friendly, when asked if I needed to check -in I said yes can I check in early. The front desk without hesitation said no problem and asked for my name and if I had my confirmation booking. I always have it and never get asked so this time I didn't take it with me, well I found out my reservation was actually reserved for March 14, 2009 and not February 14, 2009. I drove from Michigan and was looking forward to a fun day of shopping and thought for sure I would have to drive home the same night, the women helping us said hold on I will talk to my manager and see what we can do even though it is Valentines day and we are booked. She came back and said we were all set and that she would switch my reservation to that day.
Shopping was fun, we had a great location for a hotel and our room was nice, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Awful Guest Services

I recently spent 5 nights in the 41st floor guest suite. I have never been more disappointed with the service I recieved. This hotel charges for every little thing; from the fitness center to having a bucket of ice brought to your room. The concierge acts like we bother him by asking for reservation help or recommendations. DO NOT stay in a high level floor in the historic tower. Of the 5 elevators, only 2 go there and we have spent as long as twenty minutes waiting. I will never stay at this hotel again and will re-evaluate my loyalty to the rewards program with this chain.

We have stayed in this hotel before. This time we stayed for 10 days. All the staff we encountered were friendly and competent. The facility was clean and comfortable! The Bar on the 1st floor was particularly good in content and service as was the Fitness Center.
