Great Hotel

Fantastic location. One block from Navy Pier Trolley, three blocks from the "El". They let us check in early with no issues whatsoever. The staff was friendly and very helpful, and great with my 5 year old. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I went to Chicago for some adult R&R and to celebrate 7 years being married. The location was awesome and the room was really clean. Great turn down service and the bed was incredible, could've slept all day!!! The restaurants was the best part. The food in Chicago is great, go and eat!!!! Too many places to eat within walking distance to decide most nights! We will visit here again!

Although I had requested a two bed room, we were told that due to a large convention there were only single bed rooms available. I insisted that I had checked a two-bed option, and in short order a double bed room was provided. The room, the decor, the swimming pool, and the service were excellent.
Luxury on the mile

I bought the hotel as part of a travel package and was extremely pleased with what I got. The service from the moment I walked into the hotel was prompt and courteous. The room was definitely budget sized but full of top of the line amenities. The bed was a king that was very luxurious. I happened to be on the corner of the 20th floor. Very quiet. No hall noise. No traffic except for sirens (hey, it's Chicago).
The location of this hotel makes it one of the best in downtown. You can walk anywhere in under 15 minutes.
Great Hotle and Location

We stayed at the InterContinental May 2009. We did a girls 3 day get-away. This hotle is in a great location for shopping,restaurants,Navy Pier, and Grant Park. The hotel staff very friendly and always address you by name. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We needed more towels both nights-called the desk and they were there within 20 minutes. I would stay here again, and would recommend this hotel highly. Rated as a 5 Star......Excellent.....
