Comfortable, clean, quiet rooms, friendly staff. Awesome location with a view of the Cape Fear River and Battleship North Carolina. And close walk to shopping and restraunts. If ever in the area again we will definately stay again.

Our van broke down while we were sightseeing in downtown Wilmington and were all tired and stressed out. We must have looked frightful, but the lady at the front desk was amazingly helpful and offered to help us find a taxi or rental car. She also helped us find the best price for our room. Each staff member we met had a kind word for the kids. Our room was beautiful with a view of the river. The kids loved watching the boats go by. They were also impressed with the widescreen tv (as was my husband). We ordered breakfast, which arrived right on time, and was almost more than we could eat! The pier and a nearby train museum provided entertainment for the kids, while my husband focused on getting our van fixed. We plan to make this hotel a Wilmington tradition. They really helped us make the best of a worst case scenario.

Sorry we did not have MORE time here!!!

What a nice place to stay! Right on a beautiful river, close to shopping and dining. Rooms are very nicely decorated, linens very nice, beds very comfortable. CLEAN! Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking on-site. Takes about 10 minutes to get to airport. Breakfast delivered to your door! We were sorry we were only here one night and would stay again and will recommend to friends and family. Try to dine at Elijah's on the river front if you can! Great setting!

Would Stay Again

Since I booked this hotel last minute on Memorial Day weekend, I figured I was getting the bottom of the barrel, but I was wrong. The hotel is on the river, so get a room with a view. The beds were great and the bathrooms are wonderful. They delivered our continental breakfast to our room at no extra charge. All of the river front shops and restaraunts were just a stroll away and the front desk staff was very helpful.
