Excellent weekend

My wife and I recently stayed a weekend at the ShoreLodge and had a wonderful time. The view of the lake was really cool. We caught a movie in the afternoon and they even had fresh popcorn and drinks waiting for us. The food and service at the restaurant was the best we've had in McCall. We plan on returning with the kids this summer.

The rooms and amenities of this hotel are really remarkable. I stayed in a lake king suite. Our room had it's own living room and dining room, as well as a very large bath with separate walk-in shower. A private balcony overlooked the lake and had a tremendous view. After snowshoeing at Ponderosa State Park, we reserved the hotel's movie theater for ourselves. We ate in the hotel's Narrows Restaurant and had excellent food and service--people here are very warm and helpful. After dinner, we enjoyed the lakeside hot tub during a snowstorm--amazing. Where else can you enjoy all this for only $*/night? If you're looking for a great place to stay in McCall, you'll find no better place than Shore Lodge.

Highly recommended. Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, great food and lots of amenities. Turn-down service with cookies! Can't wait to return. What a bargain!!!

the hotel room was spacious and clean as could be; the lounge was great with three large tv screens; the hotel came with its own movie theater with a choice of 3 movies w/ complimentary popcorn and soda; morning paper and fresh Starbucks coffee and pastires in the lounge for the guests. We are not world travelers yet, but it the Shore Lodge has to rank in our top three resorts.

Whitetail sits on the shore of Payette Lake with spectacular views of the lake and mountain range beyond. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I have stayed at different times during the year, and it's always beautiful.
I've only ever eaten at Emma's cafe (dining al fresco on the patio by the lake is a real treat), the food is good.
The drive from Boise is quite beautiful, once you get over the hill from town.
