Now for something different: a non-smoking hotel with no slot machines, in the heart of Reno! Bay windows, clean rooms, moderate furnishings with a mini-kitchen, at a reasonable rate. Good location across the street from the river and three to four blocks from major casino/hotels. The lobby has a reasonably priced mini-mart that offers free popcorn. You can buy a can of soda for 50 cents, or rent a bicycle (even a recumbant!) for $6 an hour. A healthy alternative to the smoke-filled gambling meccas nearby.
