My husband and I went to Cape May for a romantic weekend; we didn?t have any reservation, and decided to stop by at the Marquis De Lafayette. The room was clean it was ocean view, very nice porch, cable tv, a good size pool. When we looked for the tv remote control and couldn?t find it we called the front desk, and they sent someone immediately to take care of our problem.
Although check out time is at 11:00 a.m. they allow you to leave the car in their parking till around 1:00 p.m.
I will definitely recommend this hotel!

The room was very nice. We had a great view of the ocean and a little balcony to hang out on. We had a king bed suite with living area by the balcony. Buffet breakfast was also excellent. We were there for our son's Coast Guard graduation and it only took about 5 min to drive to base. Great being close to shops and seashore.

We came to Cape May for our son's Coast Guard graduation. This was our first time. The town was pretty quiet but the hotel was great. The room had a beautiful view and the staff was amazing. The desk staff helped us find places to eat and gave great directions to get us around the area. They gave our stay that added touch that really made our stay!

I stayed at the Marquis for only 2 nights after spending a week in Ocean City ,Md.My husband and I rented a pet friendly room, we had our Cocker Spaniel with us. The room was vey clean, though small, it was adequate for our needs. My mom and step-dad stayed on the 3rd. floor in a lovely room with a spacious balcony. The staff was wonderful.
Customer service is lacking.

Reservations were incorrect I called and asked if they could move us, they said no. I then pursued further, could they move us tomorrow. They agreed to move our bags to our new room the next day. Our first room was closest to Cabanas nightclub and the music was very loudly coming through our walls. We requested late check out until 12:00 which is what they should have offered us due to the problem with reservations. At 11:45 they called us and asked us when were we leaving. It's appaling. They never asked us why we said we wouldn't be back at all.
