Beautiful resort, with fantastic & attentive staff, amenities and location!

We visited this hotel once and did not think we could afford it. We got a great package deal with flights, hotel and rental car - definitely a must if you want to travel on your own! This resort has one of the friendliest, if not the friendliest, staff we have encountered in all of our travels. The resort was very well maintained, beautiful and clean - as were the rooms. Everything seemed very posh and whatever they spray in the lobby and the rooms is wonderful - and inviting! The rooms were spacious and inviting! It was very nice to have a refrigerator (albiet small) and electronic safe in the room. Large flat screen television and an alarm clock where we could dock and charge our iPods was very nice! We had a nice little balcony overlooking the garden area and it was very quiet. The fitness center is one of the nicest ones I have been in. It has great, new, commercial grade equipment including numerous treadmills, seated and recumbent bicycles and eliptical runners. All cardio fitness machines have internal televisions with cable tv and fresh headphones for you to use while using them. The resistance training room has a plethora of rubber covered dumbells, Lifefitness (if I remember correctly) resistance stations, double-cable weight and pull-up station, bosu balls, double-handle medicine balls and stretch mats - plus a large, flat-screen television to watch. There was a pool with fountain, a pool with a great water slide and "beach" entry for everyone and pool that was more "quiet" - all nice and plenty of lounge chairs. The boardwalk was nice and led to the Gulf/Estero Bay. Take the time to sit in the hammock with your significant other! Restaurants, bars and coffee shop were pricey! Great shopping nearby!

Excellent Experience

The staff attention was outstanding. The rooms were spotless and the food met our expectations. A wold though-out the grounds is worth the time. I would not hesitate to return.

Just had a short stay during September 2008, but it was the greatest. This hotel is one of the best managed hotels that I have experienced. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, and when asked, all indicated they loved working at the Hyatt. The accomodations and food/bar service left nothing to be desired. Will return for another visit.

Great vacation

We enjoyed a great vacation. The hotel was execellent. It was in a good location. The bike rentals were included with our hotel. There were great paved trails for biking/walking. The hotel had three pools and one of them was for adults only which I appreciated. We did not eat at the hotel restaurants since there are so many close restaurants that had much better pricing. We did enjoy Starbucks coffee each morning which is for sale in the hotel. We switched rooms after the first night due to us having a stand up balcony only. It was no problem to switch to a room with a sitting balcony since there was one available. If this is important to you then be sure to ask for a room with a balcony with chairs.

Just like the website

The Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa looks just like the photos in the website and it's all it claims to be. We went for our 23rd anniversary to treat ourselves to a romantic getaway. The room accommodations were immaculate and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. If you can book the trip with the free breakfast it's well worth it. Every morning we were treated to a breakfast buffet of just about anything you can image. Eggs, waffles, muffins, danish, a fresh fruit spread, and even a wide selection of cereals. The buffet itself would have been $20 per person so getting it as part of our four day stay was worth it. The resort has a beautiful pool, but we didn't get any time to take advantage of it. We scheduled a couples massage for our first night there and it was very relaxing and a great way to kick off our vacation. In addition to the modern fitness center golf and tennis are nearby as well as some nice paved trails for running and walking. There is a lot to do at the resort, but if you want to stretch your legs even further, it is centrally located to a variety of other destinations. It is a short drive to Naples and the Everglades. We spent a day touring the Everglades and watching dolphins feed near our boat. Then took a short drive to view the local flora and fauna, and see some wild alligators. If you're into shopping, you will have no problems finding something to suit your needs. There are outlets, boutiques and plenty of opportunities to explore new shops. So if you're planning to stay in the Ft. Myers area, we highly recommend the Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa.
