The hotel was fine. The room was ok, however, they put me next to an exit. So it was a bit loud. I could hear the guest next to me, so the walls are thin. Other than that it was ok.

Was not given room booked for at check in. Was told by staff it was not available. Put in another room. Called the online company and explained problem, they called and corrected room problem. Moved to paid for room. Carpet was wet, smelled funny, got bug bites in room or hallway, broken glass on balcony, on Saturday was told restraunt not avail to regular guests only convention guests, was not told this at check in. Think twice before using this hotel.

Our stay overall was very pleasant. We attended a conference at the hotel (AR 2008) as well and were pleased with all of the services. Room was nice with a good view. Information desk personell were friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was very convenient. Only complaint was with the Business center. It cost from $*-$* each time to use a computer to check our emails. Many hotels we've stayed at in the past offer this service free of charge.
Just fine, nothing special

If you have to go here for a conference, as I did, the hotel is fine. There's really nothing wrong with it. But, it is quite far from DC and all the sights, and there's just nothing special about the hotel. So, if you have a choice, stay somewhere else where you can walk to local attractions and see some of the rich culture and character and history of DC.
