Nice Breckenridge Lodge

We had a wonderful weekend from start to finish and we can't wait to return. Nice hotel and all the staff were amazing, all went above and beyond to do anything to make our stay so pleasant. We know they have many people staying in the Hotel so to be treated as if we were special made the whole experience one to remember. We will be back as soon as we can. Jennifer Colorado realtor

Breckenridge - Valdoro

Our room featured one of the poorest layouts and designs possible. If it were in a home it wouldn't sell. Our bedroom had windows that started above eye level. The view from our 1 seat porch was that of a pillar and the roof from the portico. The TV was in an entertainment unit that was set 6' to the left of the couch / seating area. So if you sat in the furniture everyone had to look to the left to see the TV. The bathroom shower floor didn't drain right so water ran out onto the bathroom floor. SLIPPERY! In addition the pool was located off property. Had to walk next store and pass the garbage bins. The pool had the feel of a Howard Johnsons' rather than a Hilton property. The hot tubs were located on the front porch - behind a wire fence. The also were built in such a way that you had to step up two feet and then duck your head so you didn't hit the ceiling. The property also didn't have a deli / store like you find at the HGVC's in Las Vegas or Florida. The front desk staff said the other rooms / suites in the lodge were better laid out - we just bad one. The place was sold out so we couldn't change rooms.

Very lovely, beautiful leather couch. Luxurious marble master bath. Very up to date kitchen. Lots of bedroom space with 2 well decorated bedrooms. Cozy private balcony. Really nice staff when needed but not in your face.
Truly only one downside: The pool access was some type of borrowed or community pool next door in bubble, ot as appealing as the rest of the vacation.

The room was amazing; we decided to stay in a studio. The room has a fully equipped kitchen, a nice living area, and a patio with a breathtaking view of the city.

Valdoro Mountain Lodge (HGVC) is located within walking distance of Main St., home of many shops and resturants in Breckenridge, CO. The drive from Denver airport is about 2.5 hours and many private shuttle companies are more than willing to assist. When you arrive at Valdoro, your dream of a mountain retreat is fullfilled, from the stone fireplace in the lobby to the ski valet service. Rooms are well equipped and continue the mountain lodge theme. Shuttle transportation will drop you at Peak 9 or wherever you choose to go. Check with the hotel for local happenings as it seems every week offers something new. From this hotel you could easily head over to Vail for the day.
