As always we really enjoyed our stay at Little America. The bed was really comfortable after having traveled 2300 miles in a week.

Staff was so friendly! Amenities were very impressive.

My hubby and I stayed at Little America while attending the 2012 Melaleuca Convention. We had a great time and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying int the SLC area.

Great stay; hotel a little dated; in house restaurant needs work.

Very clean and comfortable rooms; helpful staff; close to light rail and bus route so easy to get around. Don't use internet while on trips so didn't inquire about free internet.

The internet description sounded wonderful. I thought I'd attend a conference and relax a little. When I walked into the hotel the common spaces were beautiful but within a few minutes, the slow let down began. They checked me into a lower rate room than I had booked. I had to go back to the front desk and while they did move me, it was only after I was asked to produce the paperwork showing the mistake was theirs. The bedding was nice and the room was clean but the decor was from the late 1980's which really detracted from the 4 star feel. It felt like staying at a nice motel, except the morning when the water didn't turn on for my shower, which felt more like a bad motel. To be fair, the water did turn on just before I called the front desk to complain but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the water pressure was poor the whole time I was there. The fitness center was really nice. Clean, quiet, and quality equiptment but the pool isn't really a fitness pool. Another man and I tried swimming laps at the same time but we really couldn't because in order to get 3 full strokes, you have to swim (indoors or outdoors) diagonally across the pool and with the unique shape, only one person can swim diagonally at a time. But it is a nice leisure pool. The complimentary Wi-Fi access was really slow. I ultimately had to use their business center where printing my boarding pass and a quick search cost me $10. Not a big deal but, when you're providing free Wi-Fi why charge for internet use in the business center? It's an inconsistent message. The cleaning staff were friendly and reserved. They did a great job of cleaning the rooms and common spaces daily. The concierges were also wonderful. They were knowledgable, efficient, and genuinely seemd happy to be assisting. The other employees could not have been more indifferent. Thinking about my interactions with the staff reminds me -- I was also challenged on my way to the fitness center to produce my key showing that I was indeed a guest -- perhaps the hotel has some security issues or maybe I look suspicious? I wasn't totally offended by this hotel but I'll be staying elsewhere on my return trips. Close
