Just OK. I'd look for another hotel.

The check-in and parking was easy but I was disappointed in the room. No safe, no pool for the kids, the beds, linens and towels seemed old and out-dated. It was clean but comparable to a Comfort Inn. I was expecting a little more. The TV was very small and the remote didn't work. I'm glad I'm only staying one night.

Solid Hotel

This was a solid hotel for the price. The rooms were a little outdated. Air conditioning worked great. Bathroom in our queen/queen on the 20th floor was HUGE. View from the room was great. Very clean and fairly quiet. Lots of hot water for everyone to get nice long showers. Room service was fast and affordable, and pretty darn good. Parking was a breeze. Check in and out was a breeze. The midway and circus were great for the kids. The Americana restaraunt served an affordable filling breakfast and the service was good. The coupons they give you at check in were very handy.

While the Circus, circus is not on the same level as the high class hotels or the resorts in Vegas, it was comforable. It had all of the conveniences you would look for at a casino hotel (with the exception of a pool). The circus is one of the few family friendly hotels where kids have a lot to do as well as the adults. If you tire of the younger crowd or are looking for some adult fun, walk to the connected Silver legacy that has an incredible piano bar and Brews Bros which provides live music in the evening. The band was fantasic, the drinks were good and reasonable. There is a wide variety of food on sight so there are little or no reasons to venture too far if sightseeing is not on your agenda. The bed was extremely comfortable to the point of not wanting to get up on Sunday morning. I definately recommend Circus Circus to travelers on a budget looking for a clean, dependable hotel.

The room was perfect, staff was polite and the food was great. I would stay here again.

My son and daughter-in-law's parental leaves were overlapping by a few days so they decided to get out of town to Reno for a couple of days. We booked adjoining rooms so I could stay with the kids while they gambled and indulged in some fun in the casino. The cigarette smell permeated our 14th fl no-smoking room and the elevators were ridiculously slow. The day we checked out, a youth group was checking in, and there was no way to politely get onto an elevator without pretending like I was an oblivious gramma and elbowing my way to the front of the line. The arcades and circus performers captured the older kid's attention for a good 2 days and we all loved taking the shuttle. The cafe in the skytower runs out of coffee by noon so get your latte fix early. The rooms are simple and comfortable. Something has got to be done about that cigarette stench, though.
