We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Service was good and staff treated us well. The location on the river was great. We had wonderful views of Manhatten. The kids enjoyed the pool. Internet service was $10 per night. Not sure why they are still charging. The restaurant had good food but expensive and we had horrible service 2 times and never returned. Breakfast buffet was poor at best.
What are they Thinking?

The management at this hotel show no ability to predict how much staff they will need. They knew how many people would be staying with them for the fourth of july weekend, and yet I found at several times of the day NO STAFF at all at the front desk whatsoever, and a restaurant with only like 2 servers with a line of 15 people waiting to be seated. There were tables open at the restaurant, but the hostess said "You can't sit there, we don't have wait staff working those tables." What? Did they not know that it was going to be July 4th weekend? Did they lay off all their staff? Someone at the restaurant said loudly "I've been waiting 1 hour to get my omelet, does it really take that long to make it?"
This hotel is certainly not worth the $* a night I paid for it, though the view is nice and the location is nice.
The hotel staff told us "on July 4th you will need to show your special july 4th Key to get in because lots of people will be trying to get into the hotel after the firework display." Then the staff gave us the wrong keys. Then on July 4th there was no one asking us to show the keys.

This is a great location for going over to NYC. The ferry terminal is a short distance away and the hotel provides a free shuttle. The view of the NY skyline from the hotel is amazing. The room was very good with a comfortable bed. Service at the hotel was first class. I will definitely return. The rate was much lower than for a comparable hotel on Manhattan and parking was free! Great value for money!

We stayed 2 nights and were very happy with the hotel. Had a great view of nyc and took the ferry which is right outside the door. Free parking and a shuttle which took us and picked us up from some of the local restaraunts/bars. Couldn't ask for more. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The next time we go to nyc, we won't hesitate to stay here again. Big room, safe area, great price/value.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and our entire experience in the NJ/NYC Area. Easy drive right to the hotel with free parking at the hotel saves you money too. This is the way to go if you want to visit NYC at an affordable, comforable hotel. The location is great...NYC is just 7 minutes by ferry right outside the door or 15 minutes by bus right around the corner. The standard room w/2 doubles bed & pull out couch was more than enough room for 4 people. Large bathroom was also a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful from the minute you walk through the door. Great suggestion to dine at the Chart House just up the street with unbelievable night-time view of the Manhattan...truly spectacular. I think all rooms have a view. Ours on the 4th floor had a great view of the Financial District and other higher rooms offered better view including the Empire State Building.
