"Green hotel" with suites similar to an apartment, but without an "apartment feel". Very quiet and a wonderful vibe throughout. Clean and comfortable room with live plants has a kitchen with full-size appliances, a fireplace and totally separate bedroom and living room areas. Front desk staff all quite friendly, helpful and courteous ... as well as very down-to-earth and welcoming. Provides tasty morning breakfast buffet and an evening receptions. Beautiful organic gardens of vegetables, herbs, flowers, etc. Just a short drive to the live music scene in downtown Austin.
A most pleasant stay and I highly recommend to others.
Great place to stay

The rooms are designed like the Marriott Residence Inn, small studio apartments. But with one bonus, the bedroom is fully segregated from the kitchen/living room area. Only two minor drawbacks: no microwave in kitchen and the TV was pretty small. So if you are looking forward to microwaving some popcorn and watching the big-game, be prepared to sit close to the TV and eat something else. The room did have a fireplace, the ice cube trays already had ice in them, and the room was clean. I would stay there again, but maybe not during football season.

We just went (11/7/08) and maybe they remodeled it because it was very nice and i would stay here again! Also, great free full breakfast included every morning.

I am very picky about where i stay and we really liked this place. We were skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but this place was nice and clean and a good value for the money. The location was about a 10 minute drive from downtown. They have a wonderful free full service breakfast every morning, that was hot and delicious. They also serve Starbucks coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite the first night and a two bedroom the second night and the 2 bedroom was nicer. It had larger more comfortable beds, and they also had a microwave and toaster. I would stay here again.

This is pretty much an extended stay type hotel. Rooms are one and two bedroom with a separate living/kitchenette.
Appliances consist of an older stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. No microwave.
All other furnishings are VERY dated mahogany laminate w/fine brass accents. The room decor was a lovely pink/teal/white-washed combo that tied the entire suite together in what I feel MAY have been beautiful to some in 1980... Funny.... Is this not 2008?
The bed was a typical low cost, very firm w/little padding mattress and foam core pillows that left crooks in our necks for the rest of our trip.
The bathroom counter top was Corian with several tale-tail signs of careless cigarette smoker
burn marks added for enhancement.
Not to sound a complete snob... the place was quite clean and staff was cordial enough.
Most of the money this company as invested as been in the outside landscaping. It was impeccable. Now if they would just spend as much making the inside as presentable as the outside I MIGHT consider staying again... but unlikely.
