Received a Club Room on the 47th Floor overlooking Canal street. The room was great the daily Club Room extras were nice. The location was perfect for Mardi Gras parades and access to the French Quarter. Service was excellent too.

Club Level Perks and Good Location

I was in town for a conference at the Sheraton. It was busy, but service was still very personal. The room was comfortable, bedding was great, but with all the remodeling they have done you think they would have upgraded the televisions. The old TVs with poor remotes seemed out of character for a hotel of this level. Club Lounge was a nice perk. A good variety of breakfast items and nice evening snacks. It was fun to see what the chef sent up as the hot appetizer each evening. Loved getting up early to have breakfast while it was still quiet and enjoying the AMAZIING view of the river with the sun rising in the distance. Fitness facility is very complete for a hotel, just wished that the pool would have been heated better, a whirlpool would have been nice also.

Hotel location was perfect, walking distance to everything, even with 2 children. Felt very safe. Room was very comfortable. Bathroom showerhead and caulk were dirty/a liitle moldy. Paid $30 to park each day, but wouldn't have wanted to attempt to find a safe parking spot ourselves, so it was worth it. Wi-fi was an extra fee, and not many KIDS channels available on television.

I stayed at the Sheraton on December 17, 2008. The room was in excellent condition and the staff was friendly. However, the restaurant was closed and it took me 15 minutes to order room service because the chef was hard to understand. Stay at the hotel but eat out.

Hotel was fine. Harraha's Casino was just a short walk from the hotel. Staff was nice, courteous and friendly. Breakfast that is provided complementary was of good quality and we enjoyed it. We stayed there in Nov,/2008. We would stay there again. B.T. Maryland
