A very good place to stay

Our experience was very good. The room size was excellent and the afvantages of the club level floor were well worth any price difference. The staff in the hotel was friendly and well informed about the area. The placement of the hotel is great for shopping and dining. I would very gladly stay there again.

The Sheraton on Canal St. was excellent. The room was big, and the bed comfortable. There is a light breakfast in the morning, and light snacks in the afternoon in the club room. There is also a coffee maker in the room with Starbucks coffee. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was nice and conveniently located. I ate at the Palace Restaurant across the street, which was delicious. The hotel room was nice and overlooked the Mississippi River- beautiful at night. The staff was very friendly and the bedding was was awesome. It has a Starbucks in it and their was a George Rodrigue (local artist of Blue Dog fame) theme in the lobby. The valet parking was reasonably priced for N.O. ($30.00) overnight and I could had gotten my car and returned it unlimited times during my stay for the same cost. I was very pleased and would stay again.

Great family trip

Short walk to the French Quarter but far enough away from the craziness of Bourbon Street for a family vacation. This hotel is in a great location on the trolley line which makes it easy to get to Tulane and the Garden District and is also an easy walk to many tourist attractions. The hotel was quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed staying on the club level which offered a continental breakfast and evening hor d'oevres. Staff is very friendly and accomodating -- concierge was very helpful in arranging a tour and with suggestions on entertainment and restaurants. Breakfast buffet in the 2nd floor restaurant was excellent. Only complaint was that the beds were not terribly comfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel for the Essence Fest during 4th of July weekend which I think is one of the busiest weekends they have. The hotel staff was great, I will be going again in July 09 staying at the same place hopefully with a great room with great views. The bed was one of the best I didn't want to get up after partying all night long.
