great location, safe, Clean, quiet, convenient

I stayed here for a conference. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe here. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. I stayed on a club floor and overlooked the river. The view was magnificant. The amenities of staying on a club floor were nice. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning in the club lounge. The lobby is very nice, I used the free internet. I enjoy walking, and this hotel is centrally located so I could walk to the convention center or into the french quarter. It was 2 blocks to Bourbon street. I would stay here again.

The Sheraton is a great hotel steps from Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Some guest rooms feature fantastic views of the Mississippi River. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean and the staff is very helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. The lobby bar is a great place to sit, have a drink and, if you sit up by the window, see the folks walk by.

I got a Club Level room through online travel website and it was perfect - perfectly clean, comfortable, and elegant. The amenetieis at the Sheraton are pricey but the location is fantastic and the staff is attentive.

3 night business trip

Location was excellent, front desk was ok (no one at the Starwood Preferred Desk when checking out at 7am), quality of room was nothing special. Excellent bed, carpet had just been cleaned and was still damp and room smelled musty. Tub had a leaky faucet. Room was on the 40th floor but disappointed no view of the river. No room service ordered. Room was cleaned nicely early in the day. Overall the quality of the room wasn't as nice as I expected for the price. On a 1 to 10 I would give it a 6.

Great Hotel!

This is a great hotel in a great location. The beds are extremely comfortable. The staff is wonderful. The only complaint that I had at all was that the room that we were in on this visit was pretty small. Not a lot of room between the TV and the end of the bed. This was the second time that we stayed here, and the room we had previously was not this small. But, overall, it was a wonderful experience!
