I went to New Orleans for the 4th of July weekend to attend the Essence Music Festival. We checked in Thursday and it was quick. Front Desk was very friendly. My friend turned 21 that weekend and she was awarded her own drink that was named after her for a discounted price!!! The room was very nice except for the crack in the ceiling but I was rarely in the room except to sleep for a couple of hours. $30 was kinda high for parking considering I paid $200 a night for the room. Overall my stay was very nice. Oh, housekeeping had issues and I had to call guest services to send someone up but they came up promptly and cleaned my room and few others on my floor.
best hotel ever!

Excellent location, clean hotel. stayed on club room floor so perks w/ continental breakfast and happy hour snacks. only 2 issues, keys weren't activated for the floor and they charged extra day for the hotel parking.

This was a nice hotel in a good location. The staff was very nice. My only complaint was that the maids came to our room every morning around 8:30 or 9:00, and we were still sleeping after being out late the night before. Obviously we did not want to get up that early, but the problem was that they never came back later in the day. We had to call the front desk each day to get new towels delivered to the room. With that being said the front desk did make sure that they came by, and were very helpful, but I have never been to a hotel that did not automatically come back later in the day to change out towels and toiletries. I would stay at this hotel again, because it was a good value for the money and it is in a great location.
Great Experience

This is a beautiful, clean hotel. The staff that I encountered were all very nice and helpful. The Pelican Bar in the lobby has free wireless available to guests and even has computers (and printers) for guests to use so you don't have to lug yours downstairs. The hotel itself is right on the edge of the French Quarter and within walking distance to everything I wanted to do - from touring Bourbon Street, to the Riverwalk Shopping experience and even the jazz dinner cruise aboard the Natchez. As a woman traveling alone, I was never concerned about my safety. I would definitely stay here again on any future trip to New Orleans.
