A group of friends and I stayed here for the 4th of July. It was perfect for seeing the fireworks. We could see them right from the balcony and they were straight above us. It was perfect. The staff let me go through and pick the room out. It slept 8 of us comfortably. We are staying here again in 2008 and will probable do so every year. I loved the under ground parking and shuttle service is good for getting places. Front desk clerk was helpful with dining suggestions. Only thing that wasn't very nice is that they didn't have the pool open and the hallways smelled a bit and carpets were very dirty. Room was very clean.

good things-room spacious, location good, next to ski lift
Otherwise, awful experience. I have never written a review, but want to prevent others from having our experience.
Literally, every night we were woken up around 2- 3am by the snow plow right outside our window with a very loud BEEP BEEP BEEP over and over for about 45 min-hr, then it would come back around 5 am. Complained- they said there was nothing they could do. Didn't offer to move us, nothing. Staff generallly friendly, but not much help. Hotel is old, dated, not many amenities. No room service, nothing for kids. Pool outside, not able to get to it, b/c of snow. Hot tub inside, old, not that nice. Would be nice to have outdoor hot tub. Water in our room was lukewarm. Complained about this as well and they said something about it being up to each individal owner.
Don't know what this means but as a paying guest($500/night) would like a hot shower and good nights sleep. We got neither.
I was attending a conference in the hotel. Don't know if caterer was from hotel or not, but was poor. First morning they were late getting food set up and when they finally did, there was no cream/sugar for coffee.
I will never stay here again and feel they shouldn't rent the rooms until they fix the noise problem. The manager did take 10% off my bill when we checked out b/c of the problems.
vacation disaster

We showed up with our hotel confirmation in hand, only to be told by an extremely unhelpful front clerk with, that our reservation was in their computer, but that they could not find any room asigned to us. He then offered NO HELP in solving the problem. The agent from the Help Desk from the travel agency was equally unsuccessful in dealing with them. And I had to spend the first day of our vacation contacting other hotels in the area before I finally located a place for my yooung son and I to stay.
In my thirty years of travel experience, I have had other screw-ups in reservations. But I have never run in to a hotel that made absolutely no attempt to fix the problem. So please don't risk your trip by staying here/

Rooms are spacious and have been upgraded-obviously older Park City Hotel but price refects this -rooms have been upgraded and location to base is incredible -one of those properties you can still find great rates, nice rooms, for those who have complained probably traveled in summer too cheap to pay for newer properties-We traveled in Winter -again hotel is older but our room was awesome upgraded and we walked to the base each morning.

Our two bedroom unit was newly redecorated and extremely clean. The owner put in a new on demand hot water system that failed miserably. I hot to boil water for my wife and girls to bath. The boys and I showered in the locker room in the basement. The staff was extremely friendly. The pool was extremely small but warm. The hot tub was huge and it did have hot water.
