NEVER AGAIN!!!

Do you know how to tell when a hotel is a good one or a bad one? It's not when the staff calls you by your name or how clean the maids keep your room; but instead, it's how they handle things when something goes wrong. During my stay, there was an electrial fire in my room. The air conditioning wires short circuited. At around 7 or 8ish in the morning, I was awakened by smoke in the room and fire coming from the walls. I immediately called the front desk and someone was there within seconds. How attentive. I was given another room even though I was checking out that same day. How courteous. I was even told that I could check out a few extra hours late if I needed because of the fire. How generous. But when all said and done, that's the thanks I got for catching the fire before it caused much more damage. Nothing. Don't you think a free night would have been nice? Or a free water or soda? Nope. Nothing. What really disappointed me even more was the confusion when I checked out. Since my name was not listed under the new room number, the front desk staff had a problem trying to check me out. I explained to her about the fire and why I was put in another room. Like she really cared, I guess. Her main goal was to make sure every last penny for parking was charged to my account. I found that tacky, cheesy and unprofessional. There was a fire in my room and my schedule was disrupted and this is how I'm treated in the end? Hyatt got my money this time, but never again will I give them my business.

Long drive from FLL Airport and hard to find. But, once you get there it was worth it. The service person was great. The area was nice. The pool was wonderful, clean, and warm to get in at anytime. It was beautiful and if you stay here don't forget to walk around the corner to enjoy the wonderful out door restaurant that was near by. One word, Wonderful!!

I stayed at this hotel while my husband was in town for business and it was amazingly relaxing! The pool was great. I also loved the gym! They provided bottled water and snacks during your visit to the gym/spa so I could have spent hours there! It was also on a nice outdoor running trail if that interests you!

Beautiful hotel - incredible beds - everything looked clean and smelled fresh and clean -plan to return again in March. Would highly recommend this hotel. Only disappointment - ordered room service on two occasions and got tiny portions of mediocre food at a very high price.
