Best value we've had in years!

I was so worried about this hotel after reading some of the horrible reviews (and yet some great reviews) that we actually brought disposable bleach towlettes and bug spray along with detergent in case we wanted to wash the sheets. Well, either the hotel has made some major improvements or else some past guests are overly critical. At our time of travel we were able to book this hotel for $** per night and it was FANTASTIC! As a family with children, having the microwave & refrigerator was a HUGE help in reducing our expenses at Disney. The room was very clean, cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, coffee maker, even a FREE in-room safe! The pool and hot tub were clean and chlorinated, we used the laundry machines and filled our cooler with ice each day for Disney. The location is absolutely perfect...it literally took less that 10 or 15 minutes (depending on which park) to get to Walt Disney World and there is every fast food restaurant you could want (including a Walgreens and 2 Publix grocery stores) all within 2 miles. We did not eat at the on-site restaurant nor did we use their on-site time-share offer (though the 'salesman' was very honest and told us it is a 90 minute tour, followed by a free lunch, followed by a sales pitch, and you get either $75 cash or 2 tickets to the Medieval Times dinner show). We left this hotel and went to Clearwater Beach and spent triple the price for a musty, humid room with 1/2 the amenities. GREAT VALUE!!!

We had 2 rooms, the staff was nice enough to put us next to each other even though we arrived on different days. Front desk lady was very nice and got us checked in quickly. Room was clean. We loved the mini fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool. I'm a person who loves to run around without shoes on and the carpet was extra padded. loved it!
The hotel was a little hard to find since it is not technically on the big road but there is a great gift shop next door. Also, the hotel was in a great location. Very conveniant to attractions and restaurants.
