Good value and location but smokey

The hotel amenities were as expected, though we didn't have a coffee pot in our room and the pool was extremely difficult to get to. The room itself was clean and updated. Once we got on the elevator to leave our room to go into the hotel/casino, the smoke was permeating everything. I know casino's are full of smoke but many seem to have a more limited space for smokers or they do a better job of ventilating it. With a bit of asthma, I had trouble staying in the casino for long and certainly didn't want to eat a meal there. All in all, a good value especially if you smoke or don't mind smoke.

We were overall happy with the hotel. One night the smoke detectors kept going off in our room and when we were in the elevator talking to other guests we found out it wasn't only our room.

The room (king) was large and clean; newly redecorated. No smell of smoke at all. Bath was quite small but adequate. Valet was very fast! Cocktail service in casino was sparse. Great value for the price.

This hotel is good if you have business north of Vegas as I did but far from the airport and not a business hotel. There is no airport shuttle, a cab is $50. This is not glitzy and elegant like Strip resorts! If you're not here to gamble you won't like it. Impossible to get away from smoke smell. Rooms are basic but fine although very dark. Staff smoking area was below my window so I couldn't open it to get out the smoke from the hallway. This is definitely a place for rural locals not a sophisticated resort like the Bellagio or Mirage.
