yes, these folks know how to run a hotel.....

we stayed at the hyatt summerfield suites twice in a 9 day period. we used it as a 1/2 way stop off from florida to pennsylvania. the staff really was A+, and went out of there way to care, and make us welcome & comfortable. like many travelers we factor in the continental breakfast as part of the over all value, and the hot/continental breakfast was tasty & filling. our breakfast dinning room attendant, and chef were super! this hotel was renovated very recently & is on par with any other mid to upper level (quality) hotel. interior appearances were contemporary & cheerfull. the location was a hop skip & a jump from downtown, shopping, & the interstate. *just watch out for potential traffic, even on saturday afternoon ~ it was thick & a bit crazy towards downtown. good job hyatt summerfield suites of charlotte (from front desk to maids, to food service). you get the "curlys seal of approval" from alachua, fl. happy trails & best wishes! ps yes we recomend the hotel & yes the suites were spacious, quite, and a true great value for the money.

On a quick overnight trip we weren't looking for luxury, just a pool, breakfast, and enough room that we could be in the same room as the kids. Summerfield Suites exceeded our expectations. The staff was about as helpful and friendly as could possibly be. The kids loved the pool and the staff let us stay and check out quite late in the day so we could dry off. The place was very clean and the room was a true suite with a comfortable pull-out sofa. We would definitely stay again. It was very easily accessed from the freeway and not far from downtown Charlotte attractions.

Our corner room was terrific. It was roomy and laid out better than other suites. The lady at the front desk was awsome. She gave me accurate directions, good advice, and was immediately responsive to anything I needed. The weight room also had free weights, which is rare. The hot tub was clean. There were gas BBQ grills, pool, and a basketball half-court available. The breakfast was far better than the (Austell) Wyndham I stayed at last week. The morning staff avoided conversation but responded instantly when I told them that the coffee & food was low. It was actually more expensive than the deluxe Embassy suite we had last month, but the roominess & layout of the corner suite was almost worth it.

This was a great hotel. Staff was very friendly, we will be coming back.
