Great Stay

In Janurary we had a family emergency in Wilmington and had to find rooms on short notice. The staff was such a help and the rooms very clean. For a older Hotel it is kept up nice and has the best rate in town.

i do not know what everyone was talking about, but the place was very clean, very comfortable, and very nice. it is one of the very first motels i will look for the next time me and my wife go to wilmington on vacation again!

Rooms were nice, new furniture. Rate reasonable for winter! Nice continental breakfast.

I was not impressed at all with the people at the desk.I actually had a light bulb in my room that must have broken off at some point and I stepped on a piece of glass and cut my foot. I asked for a bandaid at the counter and they acted like I was doing something wrong for getting cut. The cleaning lady was the only one that was nice.The hotel itself was not much.

This hotel had gotten decent reviews and was one of few with rroms available for my weekend trip. Being someone who travels frequently and stays in a variety of hotels, I was very disappointed with this one. The shower head was broken, the room tiny and dirty. There were lights out and it was very noisy. I understand this is a "near beach" location, but the price for this hotel was much too high for the low quality. The person who checked my in didn't even know their rates and quoted me rates (which were wrong) $35 lower than what I booked on line for.
