My stay at the Marriot

  • February 17, 2009
  • Rated 4 of 5 by a traveler from Travelocity.com
The overall service and cleanliness fo the hotel was great. I stayed for 3 days for work, and it was comfortable atmosphere and felt relaxed after a hard day. I highly recommend your stay there. Also it is located right off I25 so easy to get to your destinations fast.

Denver Marriott Tech Center

Sing "On the Road Again" and understand that this was a work trip and certainly no holiday. It is a real tease to put me into an area that I would absolutely love to explore and lock me up in a hotel with windows that do not open! However, if you have to be in a hotel for nearly a week, this is a good one to choose. This Marriott is the 3rd largest hotel in Denver and although it is far both from the airport and from downtown, it has plenty of nice features. You can even steal a view of the mountains and autumn leaves in brilliant colors.

It was very, very dry when I was in Denver. So dry if it had not been for a drought in the Denver area, I would have left my shower running to get some moisture into the air. My bedroom was dry as were all the meeting rooms. Perhaps they need to address this?

My room was a double bedded room although I had requested a king, none were available when I checked in. It was truly non-smoking and smelled very fresh and clean. There were two areas to set up a computer as well as plenty of places to plug in everything that needs recharging.

I had a mini-fridge as well as a very large closet. My view was limited (I could see mountains if I stood at the correct angle). I never heard noise from outside my room or any banging of housekeepers' carts.

I had a coffee maker, a hair dryer, and plenty of towels, soaps, etc.

A nice place for a business meeting, but far from everything if you had no car. Very limited gift shop especially with the recently enacted TSA limitations on carry on items. I do hope they have expanded 'necessaries' for sale in the hotel.
