Ridiculous!!

We have stayed here before with no major problems but our experience this time was crazy, to the point of being ridiculous. First was the large stain ( about 5x5 inches) on the side of the box spring that looked like blood. When we asked to be moved to another room, we were told that the hotel was full. The front desk person offered to bring up a sheet and bedspread to cover the stain (so we wouldn't see it! ) but when he came up, he argued with us, saying it looked more like a drink stain to him (as if that was OK.) He put a sheet over it. The next morning my daughter poured cereal into a bowl ( breakfast buffet) for my infant grandson, but there was no milk. This was an hour before it was supposed to end. There was also no apple juice. Since I noticed other people filling bowls with cereal and then setting them down and walking away, I asked the desk clerk if there was any milk. She said "no, the manager didn't get enough last night." I asked if someone could go get some (there is a super market right across the street) but she said "no, I can't leave." I asked why the girl sitting next to her who she was training couldn't go get some and she said she couldn't. She obviously wasn't very interested in hospitality. I then went to get coffee but it was all gone. Only decaf. At that point I gave up.

Never Again

Toilet kept running, light in the bathroom was broken, could hear the people next door, bushes outside the window reeked of cat pee, floor smelled like smoke even though it was supposedly "no smoking", staff didn't tell us about the continental breakfast, rude to our son . . . should I go on?

Large rooms that are very clean...

Perhaps the price could have been a little lower for the area of the state, but relatively it was a fair price. Other hotels are close but are not as clean nor as big. Plus, the rooms were pretty sound proof and food is close by!

Not bad for the price. It is only good for sleeping. Don't expect extras. The breakfast was a bit on the skimpy side.

Good value for traveler on a budget

This is a good hotel for people that want a comfortable place to stay for not a lot of money. Room was spacious and relaxing. Bedding was old and somewhat worn, but king-sized bed was comfortable. Bring your own pillows, hotel's were a bit flat. Room was clean and well kept. There was no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up stairs was difficult. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was small but adequate for needs. Overall a positive stay and great for the affordable price!
