Seemed OK but....

Internet access is FIVE DOLLARS extra. Since this is a one-time fee it's not unreasonable for a long stay but for a simple overnight it was excessive. Since I am unlilkely to do anything more than an overnight in Denver, I doubt I'll be returning.

We stayed here during the Democratic Convention for a "mere" $*/night as it was the only room in the area and just across the interstate from the Marriott where are friends were staying. Promise, I'm not a priss - love Hampton Inns, etc. When they say they'll clean your room on the 4th day, it appears they mean it. Formica counter-tops & cabinets peeling, thread-bare carpet, dirty. I was afraid to put in my contacts before I showered for what I might see. Luckily we found another room the next day & moved. We left our phone charger & called. When we went to get it, the clerk said she didn't have it and got the key for us to go to the room. At 5:00 pm, the same light I'd left on was still on (no housekeeping).
Trust me, Norman Bates may live here.
The Room

The room was dirty to say the least. The carpet had particles of some sort on it, not to mention the heard of ants crawling around on the ground. Grease was on the floor in front of the stove and into the bathroom. The kitchen cabinets and grease and finger prints on them. Behind the toilet was yellow (I was the only female in the room). The room had a smell of smoke. Thier was cigarette burns on the couch, carpet and bedspread (non-smoking room). The headboard had fallen off the wall, leaving holes in the wall and the headboard on the floor. Staff did not really seem to care. Stated that they had fired the housekeeper because she did not do a good job and they found her sitting in a room smoking and watching TV.
Clean, quiet, inexpensive hotel

This is a suite hotel in a quiet area just off I-25. There are fast food restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance. The room was clean and there were no smells of any kind. There's a breakfast bar, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stove, coffee maker, pots, pans, and a two-person setting of utensils and plates. There's a closet with hangers, a three-drawer dresser, ironing board, iron, and TV.
The staff was responsive and fast when I asked for a lightbulb (one of the bedside reading lamps bulbs was burned out).
The bed was clean and comfortable. There was even a large upholstered chair and a footstool in the room. I used the breakfast bar for my computer and as a work area. There were plenty of outlets within easy reach.
Maid service is about once a week, more often if you request it. Once you've used the initial coffee and tea packs, you need to request more (free) at the front desk.
Faxes are free; I faxed my boarding passes to the front desk and picked them up on my way out. Free wireless internet service is available, although I have my own modem and didn't try the hotel's connection.
Give this hotel a vacuum cleaner!

If you like hairy, stained towels and sheets, then this place is for you! If you like filthy floors, walls and windows, then book now! DISGUSTING!!! The location of this hotel is its only good feature. It is right next to a light-rail station.
