I would definately reccomend this hotel and I plan on styaing here again. Good location and lots to offer. the water was not working the first two days of our stay due to a city water main breaking, but even with this occurence I would still stay here. I do think however the hotel should have offered us something more than bottled water for this inconvience. they said they would bus us to a sister hotel for a shower. I wasn't about to do that with three little kids.

This hotel is very nice. Rooms in the tower are being redone. Had a great suite on the 4th floor that looked out on to the marina. Only problem was a watermain across from the hotel burst during the night. Water had to be shut off in order to repair. Thus, no showers, etc. but we were offered a shuttle to the other Holiday Inn in order to take showers. Staff handled this emergency very well.

The staff was helpful, I am disabled and was basically on my own most of the trip. Staff was friendly as well. When I checked in, I mentioned that I had to go to the County Health Dept to get a burial permit to bury my Mother at the National Cemetery, they told me not to worry that and they put my luggage into the room as well as putting a cone on a handicapped parking space so that when I got back from getting the permit, I would have a place to park near my room. They provided transportation to and from a restaurant they recommended even though they did not normally provide it for this one. I tend to cause my room keys to demagnetize and they were always prompt in responding when I had a problem. I was a bit hesitant because the rating this hotel had was 3 stars but I really enjoyed my stay. There is a restaurant and a bar right next door, food was great and priced well. As I walked around, I saw the meeting facilities and noted what was taking place. During my stay there were several meetings going on and people seemed pleased. They appeared to be excellent. Even though I did not use the pool and exercise room, I noted guests seemed happy with them.

I have stayed at better hotels but this hotel was good for the price. I liked that it was very close to Sea World and close to a supermarket, shopping (Target and Ross) and good restaurants within walking distance. The feeling in the rooms was like this hotel was around for a long while. There was a time I was bathing in the shower and the water switched from hot to cold. I think i read people having that same problem but it is not something i would fuss too much about. The neighbourhood looked a bit scary and lonely so be careful walking out at nights. The free breakfast was good also.
If i am on a low budget and I want to be in this area, I would stay at this hotel again, just for convenience.
All in all it was not that bad.

Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights, I was very impressed, and the hotel was very nice, it's a little bit older than some others but you would never know that from the inside. The rooms were average size (we all stayed in one room) perfect for us, it was SPOTLESS. The faculties were wonderful and spotless. They have put-put golf, pool table lots of fun things for the kids to do. They also have a gift shop that carried everything you would want or need. The restaurant next door (also room service) was great, the food was very good, very clean, and service was quick. The hotel is perfectly located to all local attractions and theme parks and the beach. My family just loved our stay and we are planning to return in Oct.
