First impression. Very pleased with my selection. Beautiful atrium with dinning areas. Restaurant and Bar area very comfortable. ALL staff were very friendly and ready to serve.

Would Definitely Stay Again

we really enjoyed the hotel - the staff was really accomodating - on our first day the pool looked dirty and the hot tub wasn't working - but we told them at the desk and they got right on it and cleaned the pool and worked on the hot tub - breakfast was great especially for the price - beds and linens were really nice - also close to everything.

Don't trust them any further than you can throw them.

The suites, themselves, are excellent. The staff, however... They leave MUCH to be desired. When we arrived, we attempted to check in with our travel website reservation for one king-size bed. They check us in, no problems, everything seems ok. Once we got to the room, however, we found that they had given us a twin doubles room. Upon returning to the desk, the agent said that yes, I had a king reserved, but they were booked up, and OH, here we are, there's one left. Gave us a key and sent us on our way. Upon arriving at THAT room, we found that the room key wouldn't work. Returning to the desk, they re-did the keycards. Which still didn't work. This time, they send security up to let us in, if the new keys didn't work. Well, they didn't, and security couldn't get in- it seems they failed to change the door battery, and maintenance can't be called in the evening. So, they sent a nice, wonderful housekeeping woman to take us to ANOTHER room. Which was a double-twin. Supposedly, that was it. Called travel website, their wonderful rep called the hotel, and after working his magic, the hotel sent an annoyed looking security guard to the room to give us the key to yet another room- lo and behold, it seems they DID have another king, after all... Short version, it sure seems like they want to keep the nice rooms for guests that don't pay travel website prices, but if you fight for it, you can have a VERY nice room.

Best place to stay in Tucson

The suites are a bit older but you have a ton of space. It's a great place to bring the kids

My stay at the Viscount was okay. The room was good size. The AC didn't work, so we had to open windows. Luck for us it was February. It would have also been nice if they offered some kind of free breakfast for the price we paid for the room.
