The room could sure use some renovating. There was a piece of gum left on our nightstand that I know for sure wasn't there before the cleaning staff came in one morning. We didn't use the pool, but it was open.
There isn't a lot going on in Redwood City, we had to travel north into San Francisco to get to all the action, and it was a longer trip into San Francisco then I would have liked. I guess overall, the stay was okay for the price I paid.
The people at the front desk were always friendly, nice and courteous.

usually I only visit SF for gaming conventions (so, I spend very little time in the room,sleep,shower,leave) ... this hotel is relatively near the convention site. freeway access is very good. My room was quiet and clean. The price via an online travel website is the only way I can afford to attend KublaCON & ConQuest!

Value for money. Free wireless, convenient location. it's a good choice for travelling in SF.

Staff was nice but the room had a ripped arm chair, stuffings coming out of the box spring, smelled and could be cleaner. Rooms need some attention and upgrading, this is why I say only students would put up with that.
