What a Dud!

I was very excited when we first arrived, because the hotel was easy to find and close to shops and restaurants. However, the first night we stayed in this hotel there was a dog barking late into the night. Plus housekeeping was awful. We came back to our hotel after our first full day (a little after 3:00 p.m.) only to find our room hadn't been cleaned yet. We had to hang out at Borders for an hour while they cleaned it. Then the next morning they were banging on our door at 9:00 a.m. to clean, so we hurried up and left. Then when we returned around 4:00 p.m., the room wasn't clean! Housekeeping then came banging on the door a half-hour later wanting to clean. I was so fed up! I've never had such a problem with housekeeping before. I wouldn't stay here again.

It's clear that the rooms have been fairly recently redone, so it's almost like a brand new hotel. The staff also worked with me on slightly extending my checkout, due to a flooded street I drove into that killed my car engine. Free coffee is decent. (I'm very quality conscious with coffee) Very nice bathrooms with new tile. Nice recent paintjobs. Comfortable beds. Nice tv. Hard to find, though, if you're coming into town at night during a flashflood rainstorm. Not visible from the frontage road. Make sure your directions are solid.

room was clean and updated; beds pretty comfy for a budget, no-frills place; easy to find and at good location for our needs; overall, a great value if you need basic lodging

Best hotel for the price. New, freshly painted room w/comfy bed and plenty of space for a single business traveler. Some night noise owing to direct entry from parking area.

The room was tasteful, clean, and newly remodeled. The bathroom was also clean and newly remodeled. Desk was modern and functional, not the usual clunky furniture. Several outlets to plug into, including one just above the desk! A very good value. I'll definitely return.
