Nice, but small

Quote: This was a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Everything was clean and neat. We had a corner room, so it was shaped very awkardly with 2 halls and one tiny bedroom - enough room for the bed and desk and space to walk between them. I liked it,... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review

Be careful

Quote: I had a paid reservation at this hotel April 2011. When I arrived the reservation was lost. Management was rude and no help at all. I've stayed in the past (mediocre at best) but I wouldn't take a chance again!!

My new favorite place to stay in New York!

Quote: We traveled to New York from Boston on the train and elected to stay at the New Yorker because it was near the train station. What a great choice. It was centrally located for us to walk to theatre at Times Square and easy subway travel to statue of... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review

Quality Room; low price

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 13, 2011
Quote: We stayed in Room 3301 and found the room a little small (especially the bathroom) but clean. The room decor could be updated but was in good working order (as of April 2010). For the price I would recommend. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Views... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review

Good price less than perfect location

Quote: The room was great - 2 bathrooms and 2 closets for 3 women worked out perfectly. Our room had two double beds and double may be a stretch they were small but worked. I would not recommend using the concierge for Broadway tickets. She was rude when... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review

Quote: Hotel staff friendly and helpful and I received an upgrade on my room. Older hotel that could use some updating in parts, but was comfortable, clean, and there was plenty of room. Awesome location for us as we were there for a concert at The Garden... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review

Quote: Found this through the search... didn't realize at the time the New Yorker had such a good history. For being a Ramada, this is clearly one of the best in the chain. Great location, concierge and desk clerks all extremely helpful. Rooms are probably... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review

Great Art Deco Hotel , Shame About The Staff

Quote: Great location for shops, subway etc . Travel lodge rooms are cleaner and brighter . As for the front desk staff, they make you feel as you are intruding on their privacy all the time.http://the-new-yorker-hotel-experience.weebly.com/

Great location for a New York Vacation

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 15, 2011
Quote: This hotel is in a great location. It's central to many of the great sights that are a "must visit" in NYC - Macy's, Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, and many more. We were in town for a concert but were able to fit in shopping and... Read the full New Yorker Hotel review
