Thanksgiving stay Nov 23,2007

I asked for a room on the lower level, which I received. But it was located directly next to the elevator so all night I heard the elevator bell going off. I asked for extra towels and got none. The heating/air conditioner unit was difficult to regulate, it was either extremely hot or cold, nothing in-between. The ceiling was coming down in the shower stall and the sink area/counter was very small. In the morning when I badly needed a cup of coffee, there was some problem with the coffee machine so there was none. I had planned to tell the receptionist about the quality of my stay when I checked out. But she continued talking to someone else in the lobby while she prepared my receipt and never asked me. I've been pleased with my stays at other Marriott locations, but this one was a disappointment.
