Great hotel. Close to the downtown business district. However, a little bit of a walk to the tourist attractions. Subway stop within 1 block. Easy and safe to get around the city. Best is on foot if you are up to it. Try taking the train to some areas, and walking from there

We booked this hotel based on the pretty pictures. Here?s our scenario. 2 PM- We arrive?no room3:30 PM ? No room. we got food tickets for the dining hall. 3:30 ? 4 PM- Look for parking in the crowded garage. 4-6 PM ? Walked around Montreal.6 PM - No room. Got breakfast tickets. 7 PM- Cashed in dinner ticket. 8 PM ? Got smoking rooms. We requested non-smoking. Told ?requests do not guarantee a non-smoking? 8:00-8:15PM ? we make loud noises of complaints8:30 ? we got rooms. Rooms didn?t look like the pictures.

Overall, it was a good deal. The room was adequate. Housekeeping was fine. Breakfast is not good - worst coffee EVER, dinner is mediocre. The balcony was dirty (cigarette butts out there the whole time) with no chair or anything. Elevators were fine - I don't understand the complaints that they are slow - perhaps they've fixed/replaced them? My son loved playing in the HUGE room.
