I did my research before staying here and it paid off. Travelocity only gives it 2 stars, but it is much nicer than that. Very nice soft bed and very clean sheets. Can't think of anything bad about this location. I liked the breakfast alo., It is much better than going to fast food, or waiting at a run-down denny's or something. You can enjoy waffles, Danishes, coffee, oj, milk, juice , cereal, cheese, bread, bagles and more. Nice and relaxing to watch the morning news with your bagel and coffee. I am booking another stay as soon as a finish writing this.

We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was great. We made waffles every morning. They had many other choices besides that as well. The room was clean and nice. The beds weren't great, but ok.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Comfort Inn, ARCATA, while our taking moving our student into Humboldt University. It is a 5 min., drive from the school, and nearly across the street is a small mall with pizza, greek, chinese and major fast food chains, grocery, laundromat and a dollar store for all those extra school/dorm stuff you forgot to buy.The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly and responsive and they serve a deluxe, complimentary breakfast each morning that was much better than usual. (They had make your own waffle,fresh fruits, hot cereals, pastries, cheese and more...)Lots of free parking!

Not much in this area for nice hotels...this one needs some updating...bedding, carpet. Staff helps off set the lows.
