Just needed somewhere to stay for the night of a friend's wedding. Room was spacious and clean. My only complaint was that the room felt humid, maybe because it rained that day or I left the AC on too long. But I like a crisp-feeling room regardless of the weather. It met my travel needs, so I would stay there again and recommend it to others.
Not for the business traveler or...

anyone needing to use the internet for other than casual purposes.
I reserved an "all-inclusive" king room. Apparently, upon check in you are provided a prepaid T-Mobile card to log in for internet access. I was not given a card. I had to call down 5 times and went to the desk 3 times before someone was actually there to give a card. Then the internet connection kept cutting off. I must have restarted the connection at least 20 times in an hour. In addition, the 2nd night I was supposed to be given a 2nd card however the male attendent with the painted on eyebrows stated they did not have any. I told him that I would wait for him to call his supervisor to figure out how to fix the situation.
In addition, the hall way smelled like a bathroom that needed to be cleaned. The hotel room had a strong odor. Since I am working on a small client, I tried to same them some of my lodging expenses. I was unable to find anything in a reasonable price rate around the immediate area......I went to HEB and bought scented candles to mask the smell until I left.
I was I had never stayed at a Red Roof before and after this.............I will NEVER stay at this Red Roof or any other one again!
Great motel at an even better price!

Unlike another reviewer, I did not find rats in the hallways. Although there was ongoing construction with jackhammers and belt sanders I felt like that was a small price to pay to sleep at this fine establishment
Did not live up to Red Roof reputation

Rooms were very old and tattered although construction was ongoing upstairs. Pounding and hammering from 8am till 6pm.
