We booked only one night at this hotel because decided to extend our trip to Destin. We had been staying a nicer hotel, which was only about 15 to 20 dollars more than this one. Apparently though that means something because we went from an adorable room with a comfortable bed and a flat screen tv to a mess. The room was smoking, even though we booked non. When we told them this they offered us a room they were in the process of cleaning. It smelled even worse-- like 3 or 4 bags of garbage still in it from the spring breakers before us. So we stuck it out with the smoking room. The bed spread was hideous on top of being a really weird nylon fabric. The bed was springy and uncomfortable. I went to get a glass out of the cabinet for water and decided against it because the glass smelled just... dirty, mildewy or something.
Good: The staff was nice about everything and the pool area is really cute and surrounded by trees (although the pool was pretty small). You're also really close to everything but there aren't really traffic noises or anything like that.
not what we expected

we first of all don't go by the pictures you see for this hotel...it looked nothing liked the pictures online....it was very tiny and horrilbly decorated...smelled like bug spray....bed was soooo uncomfy....and to top this off we had bed bug bites all over us the next day!!Also as much as you pay for this you should get room service everyday no matter how long you stay!!It's so hard to keep your hotel organized and enjoy your vacation too!!my advice don't waste your time and money here!!!!!

This was an unexpected trip to attend a funeral. I was not interested in the beach or other activities and wanted a reasonable priced place to sleep. I found it here. Conveniently located in a shopping area just off the main highway 98. The staff was very friendly, even upgraded my room at no charge when they found out I wanted non-smoking and had been reserved a smoking room. Everything was clean. Room had a complete kitchenette. Mattress was not the best I have ever had but I slept fine. They have a complimentary continental breakfast but it is sparse. Bagels, cereal mostly. Compared to what some of the other funeral attendees paid, this was a bargain. Parking ample and convenient.

My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary vacation. I was 4 months pregnant at the time and it was sort of a last vacation just the two of us. We had a good time (well, other than the fact that I got sunburned really bad) while we were in Destin. We were both very impressed with this hotel. The beach is close enough that we could have walked to it and the price of this hotel is very affordable and yet it's still such a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change is the staff. We walked in and asked the girl if we could check in early and she was very rude when answering us. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice yet affordable place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel over the Labor Day '07 weekend. I found a deal through Travel website. The hotel looks very new, and the room was great! We got a studio room with a king. It came with a mini kitchen including a stove. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I accidently left a pillow in the room, and they are mailing it to me free of charge. If you don't care about staying on the beach in Destin, then this is definately the way to go!
