A surprise on the credit card bill.

The toilet backed up into our bathroom on the morning we checked out, and flooded the bathroom. Even though we were not able to take a bath we decided not to make a big deal out of it. We notified the maid and desk person of what happened. We just received our credit card bill and noticed an extra charge from the motel. We called the hotel and talked to the owner. He said the charge was for damage to the room. He refused to take the charge off. He was very rude and unprofessional throughout the phone call. We are currently fighting this charge.
