Not the best value

Be warned that this is basically a motel for double the price. This hotel was built around the 1960s and it shows. The rooms have been renovated with new carpet, new beds and new linens. The bathroom was not a good experience - including a 'shower head' that was basically a pipe sticking out of the wall. The air conditioning works, but really needs replacing. I had trouble with the lights not working, even after they came and 'fixed' it. This whole area is expensive, but when I got a chance to move to a friend's spare room, I took it.
All around good value

This was the only affordable place we found on the Space Coast during a shuttle launch/4th of July weekend. Despite my wife's fears, the room was spacious and well equipped (anyplace that includes a fridge when travelling with kids is a bonus), the staff was quite friendly, and the breakfast looked pretty good (but we ate at the Denny's across the parking lot). If all you need is a place to sleep, and don't have to have an ocean view, you get a good room/bed at a very good price.
