Very Nice Hotel

We stayed at this hotel to attend the USBC Bowling tournament because of the bowling alley. It is off the strip just a mile or two, but it is near many restaurants and shopping just a short drive away. If you want to go to the strip, there is a shuttle service, which was great. We took it everyday we were there. The hotel lobby was very nice, not too smoky where the casino is. There is a nice assortment of restaurants, the best ones are the Courtyard Cafe and the Market Street Buffet. The other restaurants are just fast food, and not that good. The rooms are really nice, larger than most rooms, very clean, and quiet. The bowling alley was very nice, and the games were not expensive at all. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only problem we had was finding parking, but that didn't change our opinion of anything. Overall, this is a really nice place to stay with or without kids. We didn't use the pool, but it was very nice and the fitness center was very good.
Great for the price

Stayed 7 days May 5, 2009. Staff is friendly, restaurants are good, room is spacious and clean. Good security and when I asked for a small refridgerator, it was in my room within 15 minutes. I have stayed here before and will definitely recommend it. The only negative is transportation. I definitely need a car to get around.

Enjoyed our stay at the Orleans Hotel. Unlucky at the casino but that isn't anything new for us. Rooms were OK, although it was difficult to sit in the chairs/sofa and see the TV at the same time. Pool area was outstanding. Front desk staff was friendly; however, did not like the idea of paying a $5 per day resort fee. The French Market Buffet is a good value and the food is great. You also wind up paying less than using the Courtyard Cafe. Good selection of restaurants throughout the hotel. Had a shuttle to the strip area, but it shut down at 1230 AM. People were actually near blows trying to get those final seats to get back to the hotel.
Will stay again

The orleans is a great place to stay in Vegas. It is off the strip -- quiet, but has a shuttle to the strip when you want to go. This hotel is very clean and safe. Enjoyed all aspects -- the rooms were great -- food was good.

Our recent stay at the Orleans Casino/hotel was very enjoyable. The room was large andcleanup crew did a good job. The additional parking out back and on several levels made it easy to get around. Access to Interstate and central location made it easy to get around. The Mexican restaurant was excellent. Rate was very good, thanx to online travel website. I'd love to make the same trip again.
