Positive - Clean, quiet, great price, comfortable beds, just a few blocks from shopping/restaurants, delightful breakfast, helpful staff.
Negative - rooms are a bit small for familiies with 2 or more kids, it's 3 long blocks to the beach, pool is very cold because of the shady location
This place was great

I loved it. The down side: Kind of small rooms, small pool, not a resort, and not on the beach. The up side: most comfortable bed EVER. Very clean, newly refurbished. Giant flat screen TV. Very trendy, free internet with printer so you can check-in for your flight. Just a couple of blocks away from a very nice area of town, and two more blocks to the beach. If you have little kids, this probably is not the place. But for the two of you, it is perfect, and 1/2 the price of the cheapest rooms on Waikiki Beach.
Very impressive hotel, beds were great, room was very clean

Very impressed with this hotel, beds were great, room was very clean, and the hotel staff was helpful and always cheerful. The breakfast was more than just an advertised continental breakfast as they had fresh fruit and warm pastry. The view we had from our room of the canal and mountains was beautiful. The only thing I even find wrong about the place was the road noise coming up from the street was a bit load at night...ear plugs worked great. We would most likely stay again.
Such a blessing! LOVED IT!!

We stayed here in December. It was perfect! The staff was the best and were so helpful! Would stay here every time. Great location and great accommodations!
We has put on our reservation that we were celebrating the fact we were expecting our first baby and anniversary. We had a miscarriage two weeks before so when they said "congrats" we told them thanks and that we lost the baby. They really went above and beyond to make sure our trip was restful and allowed us to recoup from the heartbreaking weeks prior. Can't say it enough, the wonderful hotel made it a great rejuvenating trip. Loved it!!
Very Trendy and Good Price

We stayed in January 2009. The newly renovated decor is very trendy- lime green and turquoise beach bubble theme. Our one-year-old loved a stuffed gorilla toy in the lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Soaps and lotions smell really good. Staff was willing to help with any problems immediately. They were the nicest and most friendly hotel staff I've ever met.
We had some small problems that were addressed by the staff. The fridge had a bad odor, and there was a small power outage which we don't know if it was the hotel's fault.
Be aware that parking is an additional $22 per day and is valet, so plan to tip. Parking is in a secure under hotel garage. The pool is small and was ice cold. We tried to swim anyway hoping to get used to it but had to get out when our teeth chattered.
Hotel is located about 3 blocks from Waikiki beach and it is easy to walk. It's also near some high-end shops like Juicy Couture and Louis Vuitton. Make sure you have good directions if you're arriving at night. Street signs are hard to read in the dark, and the driveway is immediately on the left after the turn- so it's easy to miss.
We loved this hotel. It's really more than we expected from a Best Western. We would definately stay there again.
