An Amazing Hotel!

I did extensive research on hotels before we traveled. I loved the marble bathrooms! The bed was quite comfortable! We didn't see housekeeping once, but could always tell they had been there! I loved the turn down service! The concierge was extremely helpful and the doormen always greeted us. I felt like royalty! The location is supreme! Two blocks from Time Square and was close enough to walk to a fancy dinner and The Color Purple (in heels!), Rockafeller Center, and the visitors center. (Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for site seeing days!)
This one is a winner!

This is a beautiful new hotel well located near 5th Ave and the Theatre District. The room was very nice and it had a great bathroom with separate tub and shower. Beautiful public areas throughout. Some of the rooms do towards the back of the hotel next door, but what can you do? I would definitely stay at the Sofitel NYC again.

The bed was very nice. Housekeeping was very poor. The first day was fine, day 3 and 4 the service was really poor. Many items not being replenished. When we asked for washcloths after 2 days of none - we had 12 left for us. Two were all we needed and wanted. The hallways were like a sauna.

The beds and the bathroom were both wonderful. We were impressed with the quality of everything in the hotel. All of the staff were outstanding and helpful. We received an upgrade to a higher floor than reserved at check-in. We look forward to staying here again.
