Quote: I visit San Francisco a few times a year and whether business or personal I always stay at the Renoir. The hotel is charming and comfortable though not opulent. The staff is polite and the neighborhood has a lot going on.

Quote: I will admit they had such friendly staff but that was the only good thing! The valet parking is a sham! they just park the car at a public lot and charge you more for it, you might as well go park it there yourself and save yourself about 20... Read the full Renoir Hotel review

Quote: My mission was to find an affordable hotel close to the BART trains (Civic Center) and Trolley system. If that's all you want then this is the place for you! If you want to be somewhere safe where the sidewalks along side of the hotel don't smell... Read the full Renoir Hotel review

Friendly and helpful staff, average accomodations, good value, bad area

Quote: The staff at the Renoir were very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean, and relatively comfortable. For the money, it was a good deal and suited my X-gen son and me fine; would not recommend for the 40yrs. and over couples. Really... Read the full Renoir Hotel review

This hotel was in a good location, but had lots to be desired

Quote: Although the hotel was on Market Street, it was located in a scary part of it. I took cold showers the whole time, even though I complained to the front desk, nothing was done to correct the problem. It was cool, but had no heat in the room.

2 Stars

Quote: The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is 6-stories high, so the view was nice. Other than that, the room was small and the bathroom looked unclean. There is only valet parking available, which is not included as part of the room purchase, and it... Read the full Renoir Hotel review

Great location, have to pay for wifi, friendly service

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 7, 2011
Quote: Renoir has a great location in the centre of downtown. The staff is very friendly and smiling. The hotel charges about $10/day for the use of internet or wifi, I think it's a little much thou. There was no individual heating in the rooms, and the on... Read the full Renoir Hotel review
