This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. The employee's are very kind (especially the valet's) and the room was immaculate. Once I hit the bed, I was OUT! The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The room I was in was completely soundproof, or atleast I rarely heard any noise. The lounge had awesome food on Friday nite at no charge and the bartenders were real fun. (They could be open more hours, though :-) ) It's COMPLETELY within walking distance to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, as well as the French Market and Jackson Square, which is a "must see". This was one of the funnest vacations I've ever taken, and in large part, because of the Intercontintal Hotel, New Orleans. I went through Travelocity and got a steal of a deal coming from the West (round trip flight) and staying for 3 days in a 4-5 star hotel for $550.00!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We stayed in this hotel on a roadtrip passing through New Orleans.
The hotel was perfect. Valet service was prompt and courteous, I could have gone without the $29/night parking fee but it was somewhat worth it not to have to look for parking.
Check-in was fast and courteous as well. We booked this rate with the breakfast option, which turned out to be two vouchers for coffee and a muffin, I was not impressed and wouldn't have paid extra for this had I known what it included. There was a bell hop who was really helpful in telling us where we could find local restaurants and stores.
The room was perfect and very comfortable. The room was clean and very accomodating. The bathroom was awesome, a big tub and a huge vanity. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. They used a down cover over the mattress and a down comforter as well.
We chose the room service option for breakfast, I definitely recommend the room service. We ate at the hotel restaurant the night before and loved it, although it was a little over priced.
Overall a great experience!
Very nice

online travel website chose this one for me. I selected the airfare and they said I could add a 4star hotel for $**/ night. How can you not accept such a great offer!
The room was perfect. Very bright, clean, new duvets with covers that get washed, and welcoming. The minibar was outrageously overpriced but irrelevant.
The pool on the roof is small and does not have a lot of character but was most enjoyable to sit next to and soak up a little sun.
The consierge was very friendly, knowledgable and willing to share his opinions and send us to the best places. (Mother's restaurant around the corner form the hotel is a must stop location for a great new Orleans breakfast!)
It is a quick 2 block walk to Bourbon street and the french quarter. Trolly stop out the front door to get to the garden district.
I highly reccomend this hotel!
