I've always avoided Best Westerns because most are now foreign owned and not very clean. But this hotel was an exception. We had room 222, a beautiful 2 room, 2 bath suite. It was squeeky clean and very nicely decorated. Great location. My only minor complaint is our stay was well into our trip and we needed to do the wash. There was only one washer and dryer and it took for ever to do it as a result. Also, don't trust the advertisement binder in the room for restaurants. Mike's Pizza just a couple of blocks away has a full page ad. BEWARE!!! DON'T GO THERE!!! It's a huge rip-off. They have printed paper menus at all the tables. So we figured out what we wanted from these and I calculated that the bill would be about $26 plus tax. I went to the counter to pay and was charged over $36. I foolishly didn't notice then & signed the credit card ticket and finally noticed when she gave me an unitemized reciept. When I told her I thought I was overcharged, she said, "Oh yeah, the prices have been raised, you can't go by the menus on the tables! Why didn't she tell me that when she saw that I was giving her the order from the paper menu? At that point, we were hungry and figured it wasn't worth the hassel of telling them to forget it and go somewhere else. After waiting about 40 minutes for our food, they finally brought part of it, not including my son's order. It finally came when we were about done with ours. To top off our bad experience, the longer we waited for our food, the more we noticed how dirty the place was. Don't go there!!!
