This hotel is one street away from the tenderloin. If you aren't familiar with the tenderloin, google it. Tons of aggressive pan handling! Many homeless and drugs on the street outside after sundown. NOT a place for families! Very loud outside. ...Read more

Nice, clean boutique hotel near all shopping, restaurants and nightlife in Union Square. I stayed there during the Nike Women's Marathon and found it very convenient both before and after the race. I would stay there again.

The location is great, easy to walk or find public transportation. The staff was always pleasant and helpfull. The hotel is a little run down for my usual preferance, but it was basically clean and comfortable.

The location was great. We were able to get to Alcatraz and Fisherman's Wharf with relative ease via cable car. We were within walking distance of some top-notch restaurants as well.

This charming boutique hotel has a great location, friendly and helpful staff and reasonable rates. There's a kind of noisy place next door but it's sort of luck of the draw on where your room is located. You may or may not hear the next door noise.
Not as "Hip and Trendy" as advertised

I was in San Francisco for Thanksgiving and wanted to be near Union Square. I really love boutique hotels, usually. The description for the Diva gave it as much more renovated than it actually was. I like that it was in a vintage building but for ...Read more
