Great Time at the Ramada Plaza!

I recently stayed here as I was attending a conference in Asheville. I found it close to everything and was surprised by the great service. I felt like I was staying at a W the bed was so nice and I didn't have to wait long for anything I needed to be brought up. Definately a step above!

Great Place!

When we first arrived we had the hotel to ourselves. Once the holiday travelers settled in the place was still very quiet. Everyone was friendly and willing to accomodate us in any manner. Beds were great, but pillows made our heads hurt...too hard. We plan to go back to this hotel on our next visit to the area, we will just bring our own pillows!

Better than I expected.

We were making plans to visit Biltmore Estates and were looking at another Hotel chain, but didn't like the reviews and decided to try the Ramada Plaza. Great choice! Less than a quarter of a mile from I-40, very clean rooms and quiet. Free WI-FI. Plenty of parking, room keys worked, recently updated and my wife commented how nice the rooms were (that?s big).

I've stayed in Asheville several times over the past 20 years. The town has many different types of hotels. The one I usually stay at was full, but they recommended the Ramada Plaza. I was pleasantly surprised and may make this hotel the one I stay at for my weekend trips from now on.

The rooms have the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at a hotel. The staff was very friendly--including at the restaurant, housekeeping, and front desk. The hotel was sold out and it looked like there were a couple of groups staying at it, but every request I had was quickly fulfilled. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast each day and our server was sweet as could be.

The indoor and outdoor pools are connected, so you can swim between both of them. I also enjoyed the sauna, which many hotels are doing away with these days.

The lobby is the only part of the hotel that didn't look brand new, but I was told that will be updated later this year. All in all, I had a great time and slept like a baby. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.
