A casino for the young and/or the young at heart

We picked the Palms this time because it the best deal by far. We stayed in a junior strip with a decent view of the corner of the strip. Our junior suite was not ready by 3 p.m. when we tried to check in, so after a forty-five minute wait, they "upgraded" us to the Fantasy Tower where the Playboy club is located. The room was nice, but nothing to write home about. Everything was very clean, it had a nice jacuzzi shower/tub combo, and had a couch, wet bar, safe, and flat screen TV. A pretty good deal for the money. The casino is loud and packed at night, with lots of people lined up trying to get into the clubs. We went elsewhere for dinner and entertainment. The breakfast cafes had good food and were relatively inexpensive. The pool was a bit of a letdown- it is not that large- and you must get there very early to get a decent seat. Lots of pretty women, though. Overall rating: B. I am thinking Caesar's, Bellagio, or Mandalay Bay next time.

LOVED the Palms,Just a few things on my mind

My Friend and I stayed at the Palms and LOVED it. If you want to stay at the hottest hotel then this is the place for you. It is not as big as the rest of the hotels which I liked that b.c I didnt have to walk a mile to my room. It is very Young and Hip but if you dont want to take a taxi everywhere then stay on the strip. I feel that for the price that we paid we got a great deal even though we had to pay for a few cabs. Just a few notes on the hotel itself, they need a bigger pool area with more chairs, more shuttles to the strip, something quick to eat besides mc donalds later at night and to have the clubs open all week long. This was my third trip to vegas and I have desided that this is my hotel that I will be coming back to.

The Palms is great! Excellent pool area, clean rooms. Not many healthy options in the food court, but good buffet. Make reservations at the restaurants or expect to wait. Further from the strip than I like to be, shuttle service stops at 6:30pm. Taxi $* to strip. Good clubs in the hotel.

Does a Loveseat qualify as a

The Palms Las Vegas is PERFECT if you are under the age of 30 & watch the 'Real World'. At time of booking, I was promised a 'Suite Upgrade'. The Palms idea of a 'Suite' is throwing a loveseat into the room. I had luke-warm water at best, despite several calls to maintenance. Was also charged perday usage fees for the telephone & in-room safe - of which I used NEITHER. No Manager on duty when I checked out (9am). I love a hip hotel, but please - this puts the cheese (if any) in wiz.
