Worst Vacation Ever!

Do not book this hotel in advance, because they will give your room away. July 18, 2009 My family (3 children 4 8 11) traveled to Sandusky for a weekend of fun, well it started that way until we arrived to the hotel and the desk clerk decided to give our hotel room away and they had no openings. All the hotels were booked for the weekend. So needless to say our vacation was ruined and the company really didnt care and did nothing to help us. Evan though my room was paid in advanced a week in advance the company said i was just one person and they have other business. So for all the days inn writers that gave this place a great review I bet they didnt give your room away!!!
I would never stay give my money to this chain ever.

We were leary of booking here due to some of the other reviews but were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The front desk staff were friendly and check in was fast and simple. Our room was on the second floor of the detached building and when we first entered we noticed that the steps didnt look like they had been swept in quite some time but the main hallway was very clean as was our room. The location was good with a mall and plenty of dining choices right there , many within easy walking disatnce. We didnt use the outside pool but it did look clean and well taken care of. The free breakfast was ok for a quick bite but not a huge selection . Cedar point was a short drive although the description says near the entrance but was still just a matter of a few miles. Overall it was a decent room for a decent price and we would stay again.

Room and hotel was old and needed plenty of work. Great location in relation to shopping, food and Cedar Point. Room was clean but needs updating. Paid $* for the night offseason. Would've been really disappointed if I had paid more. Most hotels in area looked as bad if not worse on the outside. Check in was quick and easy.

We have recently stand in the Days Inn cedar point mall center...seriously i don't know why this place has not been shut down.. The so called FREE breakfast was a joke.. nothin but cereal bars and stale muffins.. The rooms smelled the bathroom was DIRTY, the beds were horriable and paint was peeling off the walls and our door. and to top it all off it cost us $*/per night!!! Last but not least when were arrived home from our family vacation I was unpacking our suite case and to our surprise a BUG was in our clothes!!!! STAY AWAY>>
