The amenities showed a restaurant. We were taken to this hotel because of the restaurant and airport shuttle; however, there was NO restaurant. We had no car so we had no meals without hiring a cab. The curtains were too narrow for the windows which faced the highway and parking lot - we had to change our clothes in the bathroom to insure privacy. The room was assigned again to another family so we had "company" trying to enter in the middle of the night! An all around bad experience! We would NOT recommend this restaurant and would never stay there in the future.

They lost our original reservation and blamed it on an ownership change. We rebooked and then they wouldn't honor the rate. The desk gal called her coworker stupid and then proceeded to overcharge us. We were then placed in a dingy basement room that had no TV. We'll never stay here again. Would have gone somewhere else but we arrived late and were very tired.

They are renovating this wonderful landmark after a fire destroyed the dining area and lounge. It is to open around Easter. It is certainly one of my favorite memories of this town. Give it a try...The staff is excellent and the rooms were very clean!
